We’re SO excited about the line-up of upcoming, scheduled events at the shop (this doesn’t include personal styling appointments, style parties, private events or trunk shows/pop-ups. Those will be added and announced separately) - message us for our Events Kit to get started.

As mentioned, the idea when creating the Boutique was to be more than just a store - we want you to welcome this as your Wedge spot for all things (and then pop to our neighbors later for wine at Angelina’s!)

HIGHLIGHTS:

Grand Opening Announcement: Second Look Styling

I am excited to announce the grand opening of my new store - I can’t believe it’s finally happening!

A bit of background …

I have spent my entire life wanting a storefront (that isn’t an exaggeration!). I was always setting up a small “shop” anywhere I could (this post gives you an example of that!) I believed for years I never took “the leap” (call it fear, call it uncertainty…. or call it “everything happens when it’s supposed to”) but after my mom passing last year, I made a promise to her - and myself - that I was finally going to give this little dream of mine everything I have.

What I’ve learned these past few months of prep is that I did, in fact, take “the leap” years ago. I may not have gone right for the storefront first - but I spent time building a brand from the ground-up, and a name people recognize me by. I spent time accumulating a dedicated squad of passionate cheerleaders, consistent customers, and a genuine following of some of the best people I’ve ever met (online AND in real life). I started an online presence that has grown to almost 14K followers on instagram, an online shop that serves locally and nationwide (with over 400K followers), I’ve offered services, I’ve held events, vended at pop-ups, written for local publications on a regular basis, had news-spots and radio interviews, and I’ve “put myself out there” in every way possible except an actual storefront. Entirely on my own - if that isn’t taking a leap of faith and belief in yourself, then what is?

So no, I’m not just taking the leap now - I’ve been mid-air for awhile, and the shop isn’t me finding the other side of the jump. The storefront is just the next chapter of this amazing leap I’ve been on, and one I don’t plan landing from anytime soon.

With that- I say thank you to every person who has supported me, and Second Look, in some way these past few years. Shopping, consigning, attending events, sending encouraging DMs, stopping me in Wegmans to say “it’s Second Look Sarah!” - every single moment with you has made Second Look what it is. Thank you for believing in me.

And with that - I cordially invite you to take a Second Look at our Grand Opening in February 2025.
